MCATTCI Opens New Qualifications for Assessment
After the completion of all the requirements and a thorough review in the facilities, tools and equipment in the compliance audit, Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. (MCATTCI) is now an accredited Competency Assessment Center for Agroentrepreneurship NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Landscape Installation and Maintenance NC II, and Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II.
Aside from the compliance audit, the trainers of MCATTCI undergone series of trainings and assessment to make sure that the training center is not just physically prepared but also equipped with trainers and assessors who passed the international standard of the newly opened qualifications. They went as far as Bausa Integrated Farm in Bulacan and in Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), Batac, Ilocos Norte.
As an accredited assessment center, MCATTCI is authorize to conduct competency assessments through oral, written, and practical exams that with the standards set by TESDA for the above-mentioned qualifications.
Graduates of Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) or industry workers who passes the assessment will be awarded a National Certificate, which they can use in their job applications in the Philippines or abroad.
The four new qualifications join the 11 existing qualifications offered by MCATTCI which include: Agricultural Crops Production (ACP) NC II, Agricultural Crops Production (ACP) NC III, Animal Production [Poultry-Chicken] (APP) NC II, Animal Production [Swine] (APS) NC II, Organic Agricultural Production (OAP) NC II, Grains Production [Corn] (GRP) NC II, Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) NC II, Barista (BRT) NC II, Dressmaking (DRM) NC II, Heavy Equipment Operation (Backhoe-Loader) NC II, and Trainer’s Methodology (TM) Level I.
