Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. (MCATTCI) took a significant step towards a greener future as it conducted a tree planting activity today December 11, 2024, as part of its community service initiatives. The event was led by the president, Engr. Irene B. Bringas who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.

The activity saw the participation of students, teachers, and staff members who came together to plant Mango trees at Lungog Narvacan, Ilocos Sur. The trees were carefully planted to provide shade, improve air quality, and enhance aesthetic appeal.

The tree planting activity was a collaborative effort between the school administration and the Abra Diocesan Teachers Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ADTEMPCO). It aims to promote environmental awareness, reduce carbon footprint, and create a healthier environment for the community.

The event was a huge success, with everyone involved having a great time while contributing to a noble cause. MCATTCI plans to continue its environmental initiatives and encourages its students to take an active role in protecting the planet.
