In celebration of the World Cleanup Day, Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. (MCATTCI) students and trainers embarked on a cleanup drive inside and outside its campus.

Armed with sacks/trash bags and stick brooms, and a determination to make a difference, the students collected and segregated waste, including plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other non-biodegradable materials. The cleanup drive doesn’t only help to beautify the area but also raise awareness about the importance of proper waste disposal and the need to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

This activity serves as a valuable learning experience, teaching the students about the impact of their actions on the environment and the importance of taking collective responsibility for maintaining a clean and healthy planet.

The World Cleanup Drive, a global movement that aims to bring people together to clean up public spaces and promote environmental awareness, has been gaining momentum in recent years. The students’ participation in this initiative is a testament to their commitment to creating a better future for themselves and future generations.
